It has also turned into a billion dollar industry that is helping fuel the Japanese economy.

    I went to Japan in August of this year. Hello Kitty is EVERYWHERE. The sheer variety of trinkets is just mind boggling. Each tourist attraction has it’s own Hello Kitty themed trinkets. Even saw a Edward Elrich version in the Airport!!
