I recommend reading the original <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/23/dining/23sushi.html?_r=1&oref=slogin" rel="nofollow">New York Times article</a> and check out <a href="http://www.fda.gov/fdac/reprints/mercury.html" rel="nofollow">this oldy</a> from the FDA, with some historical cases of Japanese mercury poisonings.
