I initially liked the photo. As a Segway owner in NYC who loves my Seg, but fears the law, this looks like a great alternative...initially. Then I read your statement, "The Segway looks sturdier and IS probably sturdier," and took a second look. What was I thinking? This thing looks like a Razor scooter wanna-be Segway. It looks like it would tumble over in a New York minute at the first sidewalk crack! I'll wait and see. If it's priced like the toy it looks to be (under $200), I'll play with it.
