Japan never ceases to amaze people. From technology and fashion to entertainment spots and themed coffee shops, they’ve got it all.

Bird-Themed Cafe
Animal lovers now have more choices. Those who don’t like cats or are allergic to their fur can check out Takajo Chaya in Mitaka.
Known as the falconer’s cafe, this place is bird-friendly. It provides visitors with an opportunity to take a closer look and observe falcons.
Why falcons? Because the shop’s owner is a so-called falconer for more than 40 years and wants to share his love with this bird of prey with other people in Japan. In fact, the shop welcomes guests who would like to bring their own bird with them.
In addition to entertaining guests, the cafe also sells birds and bird handling equipment so you don’t have to look anywhere else.
Rabbit-Themed Shop
Rabbits are the main attraction in this shop called Usagi no Kan in Akihabara. Although this is not a cafe in the real sense of the word, it allows people to spend time with the cute bunnies for a fee.
Several private rooms are in place where visitors can spend time playing with the furry animal of their choice. Those who wish to buy one or more can also do so at the shop. Just tell the staff in costume and they’ll help you with it.
Paper-Themed Cafe
Japan is known for producing attractive stationaries and those who love collecting as well as using them should visit the Bunbougu Cafe in Jingumae. What makes this cafe unique is it makes use of paper and writing utensils as a focal point of its interior design.
Inside the shop are shelves and bins containing office and art supplies. There’s also a book corner dedicated to books and magazines related to stationary. The tables also have drawers wherein guests can find more writing utensils.
Fun-Themed Cafe
This shop called 10sion in Shibuya is ideal for men who want to be surrounded by and be photographed together with young women. But you have to be game for their perks as well.
The fee here is by the hour. Food served here are the standard dishes such as rice omelets. But what’s interesting is that guests can take a photo with the maids while women can have their eye makeup done by the staff.
Another unique offering is the profitable cocktail that comes with a game. The guest needs to wear a blindfold and must guess the name of the drink offered to him to enjoy additional cocktail for free.
